Unique encaustic painting, framed by the artist, 28 x 28 cm x 5 cm deep
Encaustic paintings are created by combining beeswax, damar resin (a hardening agent), and coloured pigments. The result is a highly durable artwork that resists moisture, won’t yellow and will not darken with age. Unlike other media, encaustic paintings don’t require varnishing or glass protection, remaining vibrant and long-lasting.
